Bidding farewell to the CG 100

With Christmas and New Year fast approaching marking the end of another year, we’re looking back at our CG 100 campaign, which is also coming to an end.

We’ve been absolutely thrilled by the way in which the campaign has captured the imagination and by the innovative, exciting and unusual ways our fabulous fundraisers have helped us get to our £50,000 target.

From running and walking, cake making (and eating!) to singing and fortune telling to name but a few, it’s fair to say our fundraisers have left no stone unturned to raise money for our community development projects.

In the New Year we’ll be revealing the final fantastic total you’ve helped to raise and how these funds will be used to tackle social isolation and loneliness.  There will also be news of our new fundraising campaign and how you can continue to support our fantastic community development projects.

All our community development projects tackle social isolation and loneliness, an issue affecting many people every day of the year, but which can be worse over Christmas.  So if you can, reach out to a friend or neighbour who might be finding the festive season difficult. A small gesture such as making a donation to a foodbank or sharing a coffee and a mince pie could mean so much.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the CG 100 campaign whether you’ve organised an event, bought a ticket, donated a prize, shared details of the campaign or any of the many other ways people have supported the CG 100– we’re very grateful.
